Marco Ferrario (1992) is an Italian photographer based in Milan.
His work focuses on commercial/corporate and documentary photography projects.
Graduated in media studies, he approached the world of photography collaborating with professionals of Italian documentary photography, with a constant and determined desire to learn from the best authors.
From a very young age he collaborated with the main Italian newspapers and periodicals such as Vanity Fair, Elle, La Repubblica, Il Corriere della Sera, Gq and important companies and foundations such as Loro Piana, Ferrari, Nielsen, Ariston Thermo, Gruppo San Donato, Fondazione Telethon, Guardia Costiera, Cisom, Soccorso Alpino.
His empathic and positive gaze focuses on the relationship between individuals and communities with a particular interest in issues of spirituality and their political and socio-economic connections.
The great interest in people’s experiences led him to portray a great variety of human beings, from the CEO of the “big company” to doctors of heart surgery, from the young Michelin’s star chef from southern Italy to Kenyan marathon runners.
Thanks to photography he explores the “big business” of ordinary people in everyday life, observing with particular interest human communities and their environment.
