Andrea, Marie Curie-Piero Sraffa Technical High School - "I believe I have learned to recognize that man feels superior to everything around him: we believe we are the owners of the world, instead many living beings have lived there for much longer than we do. A “small virus”, underestimated by many, puts not only a few people in crisis but the entire world population. We think we are superior to all forms of life in nature and we are surprised when we pay for the consequences of our wrong and unrealistic behaviors.” - "Credo di aver imparato a riconoscere che l’uomo si sente superiore a tutto ciò che lo circonda: crediamo di essere i proprietari del mondo, invece molti esseri viventi vi hanno vissuto per molto più tempo di noi. Un “piccolo virus”, sottovalutato da molti, ha messo in crisi non solo poche persone ma l’intera popolazione mondiale. Pensiamo di essere superiori a tutte le forme di vita in natura e siamo sorpresi quando paghiamo le conseguenze dei nostri comportamenti sbagliati e non realistici.”
